Ms. Lily Allen was born in Hammersmith, west London. She is the daughter of Welsh-born comedian and actor Keith Allen and English, Portsmouth-born film producer Alison Owen. When Allen was 11, the award-winning soprano and composer Rachel Santesso overheard Allen singing Wonderwall by Oasis in the school's playground; impressed, Santesso called Allen into her office the next day and started giving her lunchtime singing lessons.
