Keith Stroup

Certainly a celebrity in his own right, and very successful, this dude is the founder of the first organization in the USA that's sole purpose is the reform of marijuana laws.  NORML And if any toker, celeb or not, here in the 'states' experiences reform in the laws, and can exhale a little easier, it stems from his vision, and from his dreams, and from his commitments to the cause. We should pass him the fattest of fatties !

After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1965, Keith Stroup enrolled in Georgetown Law School while working in the office of Senator Evert Dirksen. After graduating he began working for the federal Consumer Product Safty Commission that put him in contact with consumer activist Ralph Nader. Nader's work inspired Stroup to create a consumer group for the cannabis culture.
